Xstream
Shot-to-shot flowmeter providing reliable, actionable data beyond current industry standards.
The XSTREAM is a shot-to-shot flowmeter designed specifically for fuel-injection systems testing. It measures a previously unimaginable 25 injection splits (and counting) for both diesel and GDI gasoline injectors, reporting volume, opening time, and closing time for each individual injection split.
Delivered as a turnkey solution with its own dedicated computer, the XSTREAM can operate independently as a standalone instrument or integrate seamlessly into your existing testing infrastructure. Companion software interfaces with most testing systems for flexible deployment across your lab or production floor.
MCM provides onsite training and engineering support to ensure your team is fully operational from day one.
25+ Injection Splits
Measures 25 injection splits and counting for diesel and GDI gasoline injectors — reporting volume, opening time, and closing time for each split.
Built-In Safety Protection
Internal bias relief protection against drain valve failure, electronic malfunction, or obstruction. Includes injector cutoff safety mechanism for failure scenarios.
Automatic Adjustment
Automatically adjusts settings based on nitrogen pressure supply — reducing setup time and eliminating manual calibration steps between tests.
Ceramic & Stainless Steel
Wetted components constructed from ceramic and stainless steel for superior heat resistance, chemical durability, and long service life.
5-Minute Valve Replacement
Ceramic check ball drain valve is field-replaceable in approximately 5 minutes — minimizing instrument downtime and maintenance costs.
Turnkey With Dedicated Computer
Ships as a complete turnkey solution with its own computer included — ready to run out of the box with no additional hardware required.
The XSTREAM is designed for versatility. Its compact form factor adapts to various orientations and volumes, fitting into existing lab layouts without major reconfiguration.
- Operates independently or integrates into existing testing systems
- Companion software interfaces with most testing platforms
- Compact design adaptable to various orientations and volumes
- Class 1, Division 1 compatible for hazardous environments
- Onsite training and engineering support from MCM
- Diesel and GDI gasoline injector compatibility
Precision Beyond Industry Standards
Resolves 25+ injection splits per shot — capturing volume, opening time, and closing time data that conventional flowmeters simply cannot measure.
Standalone or Integrated Operation
Works as a self-contained instrument with its own computer, or plugs directly into your existing test cell infrastructure — no forced platform changes required.
Minimal Maintenance
Ceramic and stainless steel construction resists heat and wear. The drain valve replaces in 5 minutes, and automatic settings adjustment reduces operator intervention.
