Cart-Fed Tray Machine Tending

The Standard ACEstack Automation platform is designed for flexible machine tending and secondary operations with medium-sized parts presented in stackable trays. Its cart-feed system with three doors allows operators to exchange rolling carts of stacked trays without interrupting robot operations — maximizing uptime and throughput.

The three-door design is the key to continuous production: while the robot works from one cart, operators can safely load and unload carts through the remaining doors. This approach significantly increases part buffer capacity for longer unattended run times.

The compact, standardized platform reduces lead time and engineering cost compared to a fully custom cell, while still offering a wide range of add-on capabilities to match your specific application.

Core System Components

Machine Base

Pre-engineered foundation that provides a rigid, precision platform for the robotic cell while accommodating the cart-feed system.

Safety Guarding & Load Area

Integrated safety guarding with three access doors for cart exchange, light curtains, and area scanner options matched to your safety requirements.

Cart-Feed System for Stacked Trays

Rolling carts with stacked trays feed parts to the robot. Three doors allow operators to exchange carts without interrupting operations.

Robot with Gripper(s)

Includes one robot (more upon request). Supports single or multi-machine tending with automatic EOAT changeover tools available.

PLC & HMI

Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and HMI with Ethernet IP communication. Data collection and traceability options available.

Electrical & Pneumatic Systems

Complete electrical panel and pneumatic systems — fully wired, plumbed, and tested before delivery.
